Main building is beautiful and bar and restaurant are pleasing on the eye. Food was of a high quality, particularly breakfast. Staff very friendly. Very rural surroundings.
Wine that we ordered withe dinner was warm (it was white and had not been refrigerated). Staff didnt seem to understand wine etiquette so to speak ( I am far from a wine expert either! ) and when told the wine I ordered was warm I was offered another bottle, which was not on the wine list, from a different country and the waitress had no idea what it was. Having said that she was very pleasant but clueless. We ended up having to put ice cubes in the wine, not ideal on a £20 bottle. There was no apology either. Annexe buildings are not very attractive from the outside, and we were in one. No bath in the room. Food selection in main restaurant, whilst of a high quality, was limited and not very adventurous.

Comfort of room and equipment. I was surprised to see an iPod docking station - that was good. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Staff in the restaurant was polite courteous and helpful and the food excellent. I will definately return if I return in that area.
The room had tea stains on the wall by the electric socket under the TV. There was dust on the bedside table. The net curtains were dirty. The shower had mould on the join between tiles and tray.

The comfortable bed ! Service was excellent and the friendliness of the staff could not be faulted.
I had not realised from booking on the web that we would not be staying in the main house and it was a disappointment upon arrival to find we were elsewhere. I would ensure I booked by telephone in the future to ensure I coulddiscuss the booking>

The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food for breakfast, bar snacks and evening meals were excellent. There was complimentary hot drinks, water and fruit available all day. Plenty of tea, coffee and water in your bedroom.Very comfortable beds and pillows. Set in lovely countryside but best to go out for the day.
My expectation was for a quiet time in the country and the hotel was on a fairly busy main road and our room was sideways to this room so there was a fairly constant traffic noise most of the day and some of the night. Ask for a room at the rear of the complex. It is very popular for weddings, parties and conferences so our first night saw 5 events happening and then the conference people started arriving on the sunday and monday. The main hotel is kept for special occassions and the rest is in blocks around it, quite tastefully done but the pool block is the furthest away so we didnt bother to use it. If it rains you could get wet going over to the restaurant for breakfast!

The staff were friendly, very helpful, making sandwiches for us even though the kitchen was closed, as we had arrived late due to the bad weather, and served us in the bar, the food was very good, hot and fresh breakfast buffet.
I had an 'old blood stain' on a pillow case, which I know was clean but it did not look nice, I pointed this out to housekeeping and mentioned to the reception when I checked out. The radiator in the ensuite did not appear to work either, which was brought to their attention upon check out.

Staff were very friendly. Comfortable hotel that seems like it is primarily a business training centre but a good centre for a weekend break to the Northampton area.
The room we stayed in was noisy due and we could hear people walking along corridor up stairs.

the staff was extremely helpfulland polite ,made us feel most welcome the food was very good and reasonably priced, was a joy to stay
felt the the layout of diningroom tables ,where a little close together, for two people and the table was overly cluttered,
